Accounting Assistant - Payroll

General Purpose:

  • Manages the Company payroll.  Maintaining records, timesheets and the Company payroll system.
  • Supports continuous improvement throughout facility

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation and timely completion of payroll on a bi-weekly basis for a staff of 300 employees
  • Responsible for collecting and verifying labor reports/time on a daily basis
  • Responsible tracking and processing vacation via Company intranet and maintaining accurate vacation count for all employees
  • Responsible for maintaining and tying all benefit related deductions and processing on a monthly basis in a timely manner
  • Responsible for processing all commissions in a timely fashion on a monthly basis
    • Generating commission based reports and reconciling records
  • Responsible for processing credit cards reports and records
    • Collecting and reconciling receipts
    • Collection of records as needed
  • Other job tasks as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree preferred in related field or experience may be substituted in lieu of education
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Experience with ABRA payroll software preferred but not required
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep information confidential is a MUST

Mechanical Drafter

General Purpose:

  • Transforms initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents.
  • Supports continuous improvement throughout facility

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer requests and generate CAD drawings using AutoCAD accurately and timely
  • Complete ECO’s (Engineering Change Orders) to setup new product or revised product
  • Generate/modify routing using standard templates
  • Perform product testing as needed
  • Estimate labor time required to produce product and submit quote to customer using established labor standards
  • Generate 2D tooling prints under supervision of Tooling Manager
  • Interact with customers to help them develop better product by providing various available options which will add value to the product

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience with AutoCad and SolidWorks is required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
 

Purchasing Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain system of ordering materials, supplies and equipment
  • Communicate with all department reps for supplies and budget guidelines
  • Returns processing/credits
  • Invoice problem resolution
  • Confirmation of order quantity, pricing and availability
  • Order follow-up (telephone/email communication)
  • Ensures accuracy of all orders
  • Creation of purchase orders
  • Communication of orders to vendors
  • Ensures audit compliance and order accuracy

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Administrative experience
  • Inventory/Purchasing background preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
