THREE 60 SAMPLING SYSTEM
Three 60 is a completely sanitary, single use method of removing a sample from a closed system. There are no parts which must be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. The entire set (4 vessels) can be applied to your fluid holding vessel or transfer line, used and discarded.
Advanced Scientifics also offers a complete line of small vessel sampling bags to compliment this procedure. As well, the patented “Pinch and Cut” separation device negates the need for an expensive tube sealing apparatus.
Another option is to utilize a Tube Welder allowing a sterile fuse to a tube applied to a source tank or system.
DETAILS
Three 60 is a completely disposable method of removing a sample from a closed sterile system. There are no parts which must be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. The entire set can be applied to your fluid holding vessel or transfer line, used, and discarded. The use of secondary tools are unnecessary to safely remove the sample from your system.
Three 60 is simply compatible with either a NA port, or a 1 ½” sanitary connector. There is no
longer a need to have specific hardware or expensive porting machined to your vessel.
Disconnecting your sample from the device is equally simple. The Three 60 was developed with a disposable disconnect which makes a “cut and seal” action.
The Three 60 devices are manufactured in class 7 clean rooms under the scrutiny of a quality system approved by ISO 13485 and the FDA. Additionally a 100% inspection is performed on all parts leaving the facility.
DESIGN & MECHANICS
The Three 60 rotating valve body utilizes a dial action. Rotating the dial clockwise aligns and misaligns the tubed fluid path with the single fluid path in the main body. This opens and closes the fluid path, collecting samples. Further functionality in the valve prevents cross-contamination by only rotating clockwise. Finally, when the dial is rotated 360 degrees, the dial is locked from future use.
